It never ceases to amaze us, how much information companies have and how little it is used to help run the business. The issues are maintenance of and access to, the data.
Take for example accounting systems. Most small/medium sized businesses use SAGE Accounts. This contains the companies "golden" data on customers, suppliers, products, invoices, payments etc. However often the only people who have access to this data are the clerical and finance staff for reasons of security, sensitivity, training, number of licenses and cost.
Yet the Managing Director and other senior staff would benefit from selective access to data for sales, marketing, operational and business management activities. However they normally have to rely on reports, provided by the accounts department, which are usually printed and often out of date.

As the data is only pulled, there is no possibility of the "golden" data becoming corrupted. AccountsLink provides a "drill down" capability for detailed review and allows data to be exported to MS Excel for further analysis or for customer/supplier mailings.
