Sipeda offers services to clients in the Semiconductor, Intellectual Property (IP) and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) markets – hence the name SIPEDA.
Clients are typically US or European early stage venture backed companies or divisions and joint ventures of existing international businesses. A normal assignment involves providing business development and sales representation in the European market. This includes some or all of the following; lead generation, marketing communications, opportunity prospecting, contract negotiation and deal closure. Additionally, strategic services include business plan development, product positioning, competitive analysis, staff hiring, purchasing, branch office setup and funding (through partners).
The Strategic Consulting service founded in 2001, is led by Ian Yates who has more than 25 years experience in the Semiconductor industry having held many senior management and board positions in both early stage and international technology companies.
